I only know one owner who has deployed a Jordon Drogue and he has done it more than one time.
My plan (never tested in realistic conditions) was to deploy it from its duffel bag laying on the floor

Hi all,
Let me ask when is one supposed to rigg this beast. If the weather and seas are in such a state to require a JSD and you are only two then you must crawl out of your safe enclosure to rigg.

These systems are essentially the same as home well driven systems (with a different pump and water source obviously) so the procedures there apply as well. I’ve been maintaining mine for over 40

There is a bicycle pump valve to pressurise the accumulator tank but I believe it is a rubber bladder within the tank. They can rupture.
If it is working properly you can adjust the pressure switch

Christian,
If you have the original Amel-installed pump, I believe it is very likely that the Pressure switch needs replacing. If you have any other pump, it is possible that the pressure switch needs

Under Bills "#7 - Something else" we had a failed hose clamp where the pump output hose connected to the copper pipe that runs along the hull to serve the faucets. It was buried in the engine room

Alex,
Since you did not say which pump you have, I assume that you have the Amel-installed freshwater pump.
The causes, in order of probability, can be:
A tap or valve is open. Check all including

Hi Porter,
Is there a process to re pressurise the air side of the accumulator tank? (tools, procedure).
It feels the pump is cycling on/off more frequently (like 1s on, 1s off) nowadays when one tap

Check the pressure switch.
Or maybe the pump never makes the pressure for the switch to act.
You can adjust the pressure on off levels and use the gauge to note the levels required.
