I am not sure about Amel being the reason because the Isotemp Basic 40 on BeBe was replaced while we were in New Zealand...Amel did not touch this one.

All models are pretty much the same apart from membrane numbers and pump capacity...
When you say it "turns itself off", does that mean the circuit breaker (diruptor) "dessalinateur" trips ?

Check that the pre-filter is filled with water. If you changed that in the same time it takes some time to get the water through the pre-filter since it has to be really soaked.
Also check the sensor

yes your ballast should be bonded. Probably in the eighties, AMEL did not put a copper strap but a copper braid with a terminal connected (bolted on one of the keel bolts inside the grey

Did you get the Iridium :Go" setup? If so, then the WiFi data is autonomous from the phone. Thew ay I understand this Axcess Point setup is that the router has to actually dial the phone
