Re: [Amel] Who has stayed at Marinas in Bimini Bahamas?
Hi Alexandre:
No, the rates are different, but we found the total to come out to a similar amount.
I agree: no water and meter electric.
By the way, if you go to the Bimini Beach Club (South Bimini)

Re: [Amel] Who has stayed at Marinas in Bimini Bahamas?
Good morning Veit,
All the other marinas in Bimini charge $30/day for electricity??? That is horrible ($900/month only on electricity)
Are you in Freeport now? This is where I am heading after

Re: [Amel] Who has stayed at Marinas in Bimini Bahamas?
Hi Alexandre:
I asked them just 2 weeks ago when we were in Bimini - pretty similar reply - the other marinas on Bimini are all about the same overall price. Freeport is less.
Cheers,
Veit

Re: [Amel] Who has stayed at Marinas in Bimini Bahamas?
Alex,
We have stayed there about 2 years ago. It is a first class facility. We did not use water. It is metered. We entered with full tanks. The bathrooms/showers are clean and are located nearby.

Hello Stephanie,
I noted the marina you recommend for Freeport.
$12.00 per 1.000 gallon and 41 t0 45 cents/kwh seems very reasonnable to me.
I just don't understand what the Bimini Big Game Club is

Re: [Amel] Who has stayed at Marinas in Bimini Bahamas?
Just to give you an idea of what actual utilities cost the homeowner in Freeport, water is $12.00 per 1,000 gallons -- probably the cheapest in the Bahamas -- and our electricity is about 41 to 44
