I need to replace the windlass up and down switch. The rubber boot has torn and the up switch is intermittent. These are ones mounted to the top of the windlass housing.
Does anyone know where to get

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] hard bottom sailing dinghy's
Hello everyone,
As per Ann-Sofie’s post, we chose a Caribe 290 in alu, double bottom. Under 50 kgs and takes our Yammy 15 HP in perfect harmony.
Goes like stink too and surprisingly dry ride.

I am a firm believer in an aluminum bottom, no larger than 2.8m, Caribe or AB inflatable dinghy. Also with a motor that will move/tow your Amel. I have 15hp, but probably 9 would work.

On our Santorin we had a Caribe hard fibre glass bottom Dinghy. Sat on the foredeck for long passages. Certainly needed in the Pacific atolls.

I'm not sure what you're talking about Eric. There's the one that disengages the motor on the Genoa furler...trying to picture a knob on the main furler???

It never ceases to amaze me the thought, planning and execution that went into the design of our boats.

Furling knobs.
I never appreciated how useful the two knobs tops that control the furlers until one broke.
Any Idea where I can get a replacement for the round flat one?
