Hi Malcolm,
Melilla is a very nice place, with cheap and clean diesel. Booze is also very cheap.
Marina Smir is also a nice place, with an excellent beach and a good hub to visit places like Tetuan,

Raymarine Fluxgate compass
We all know the location of the Raymarine Fluxgate compass and not to place metal near it, right?
I have to tell you about a 3 year saga of the Raymarine control head reporting the wrong magnetic

Eric,
I enjoyed your Swan 66 email. I looked at a review at http://www.yachtingmagazine.com/yachts/birds-of-a-feather-swan-66-fd?page=0,1
If you had a dozen Super Maramus like yours, you might be able

Today I drove from Long Island Ny to Portsmouth Rhode island with a friend. He wanted to see a Swan 66.
He had seen it previously out of to the water but now wanted to sail her.

for the past few years I have trimmed a generic oil seal with a new Stanley blade and replaced the Jabsco original, it usually gives you another six

Ours broke as well, we drilled a small hole in each part, and tided them together edge to edge. A little bit wobbly, but it does the job.

Eric,
Jabsco Macerator complete is 37072-0094
Kit is 90197-0000
I have given up on the kits because by the time you see leaking, damage is already done to the motor.
That is my experience. I know

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Leaking Grease or Oil from main sail furler
Looks like they just opened it up and re greased it. It is a lot easier to just add grease fittings as I have previously described and grease the furler annually—takes 5 minutes.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Fuel Dip Stick
I used glue specifically made for Plexiglas. It bonded the broken halves together perfectly.
When that hardened as I said before I added 1/16 inch thick Plexiglas on either side about 8 inches long

I am with Mark on the JB Weld, and with Eric on the splints, or instead of splints, wrap the break with 3" of fiberglass and epoxy.
The stick on BeBe is fairly accurate. I measure each time we move,
