Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Digest Number 3535
No Allen screws, just the three hex bolts (already removed) and these two flat pieces that look like they've been "peened". I don't see any thing on the inside to indicate they were rivets.
Anyone

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: adjusting the fresh water pump pressure swutch
Bill,
Thanks. I replace the accumulator tank on the heater a few years ago.
I will check it again. Oddly enough , Budget Marine in the Caribbean had the exact tank in stock.

Re: Furler stuck
I have removed my genoa furler for powder coating. I'm trying to get it apart for servicing and prep for painting, but I can't get the upper hand furling part off. I've read the recent posts on this

Facilities to Haul Out on Chesapeake Bay
Does anybody have recommendations for a facility to haul out on Chesapeake Bay? We need to haul for a bottom job and Amel drive maintenance sometime this summer. Thanks in advance.

Just read my post...pretty confusing eh? I meant that you could bring the spreaders AFT a bit to straighten out the bend. Listen to Pat...not what I say, what I mean!

Eric, Is there not at least one turnbuckle , where it attaches to the main mast? If not, could you afford to shift the main mast forward , bringing the mizzen with it . Does the mizzen's bend aft

Kent,
I just looked at the wiring for the triatic and the antenna was for my now antique furuno weather fax.
I think I will have the boat re rigged when I am back in the Caribbean with a turnbuckle

Hi Eric. Is it plumb from the spreader down? If you tighten the lower back stays and loosen the lower fore stays, that would bring the lower part of the mast forward a little and straighten it if

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Size of Vetus Waterlock on 7kW Onan
I believe my muffler cost $400- and is made of phosphor bronze.
It has a pencil zinc in it.
It was fabricated by Marine Manifolds here on long island.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Bend in Mizzen mast
I would think so also but my triatic has insulators as it is used for an antenna. It has no turnbuckle.
Any other ideas?

Bend in Mizzen mast
I just noticed that we have a small bend in the mizzen mast. It bends to the stern near the top of the mast. I checked the stern backstays and they are loose. Any ideas as to how to straighten this
