You will get "Lee Helm" versus "weather helm".
at first I balanced mine to be parallel to the water line, and I loved to have more "weather helm", but the top cavity where the bow thruster is located

If your yacht is a ketch and the mizzen is straight why not check the angle of mast to deck of the mizzen. This will give you a good guide to the angle for the main. My Santorin seems to have

Seems to me that Amel never changed the waterline, even though they changed the boat... a lot more weight aft of the centre.
I wouldn't try to weigh the bow down, that will just produce polar moments

It seems all Amels up to the 54 had a slight stern down posture. I corrected most of mine by placing 2 large anchors forward and limiting heavy items from the aft lazarette.

Good morning to all. In order to do what tells me Craig, I would, first of all, put the mast perpendicular to the boat, with rake = 0. I could check with the main halyard, but the boat is not level.

Agreed that the battery mains should turn the front bow thruster & anchor winch power off however they are such high amp cables that these are always the first things I switch off right after use
