In various parts of the world we used a plastic covered metal strop and lock to secure our inflatable as well as a tether. Also do not put your boat name on the inflatable as if you are ashore it

Tom's right about the switch. It's readily available from chandlers - I spotted them just last week. Also, go to Lofrans website and they list the brushes under "spare parts".

The switch installed on the motor cover is an Amel modification. You can still get the switches from Amel the last time I check. Others have posted alternatives that I certain work out fine. Try

It is of note that the problem is exclusive to the TMD 22. If it is a prop problem it beggars belief that no Yanmar equipped boats have trouble with their props. Surely all Yanmar owners do

I only fabricated the sheave part not the whole block, mine doesn't have a mounting bracket, there is a steel rod runs through the boom with a sheave on either side. Old design I guess but less

Did you fabricate an entire block?
The sheave is fine. However, the plastic outer bracket is broken and the
metal bar on the top is twisted.

I seriously looked at a Mango but it was very un-original and ended up with a 46 ft Maramu which I really like. I am starting to hanker after a Super Maramu though.
