Interesting, Trevor. I don't think that is where my overflow is coming from, since it happens when M not heating water except by the Yanmar. There is no contamination of the hot water either.

Pardon my ignorance here, but what would it show if the pressure drips or
doesn't dip? Is this a way to test the heat exchanger?

Kent see if you can barrow or rent a radiator pressure tester put up to 14 psi into the coolant system and see how long it take to bleed off. Don't over do the pressure. Give they are setup to fill a

Thank you Joel. I have run the engine at 3200 rpm for 10min or so every few hours of running. I have never seen the temp above 200. I'll drain the engine and replace with coolant for now and replace

Kent, you are on the money concluding that the fresh to raw/salt water heat exchanger has a leak. It is about the only way to get the fresh water side coolant to continually increase in volume and

friend who is an avid Ham Radio expert. His recommendation was the 23' whip.
