Hi Bruno,
Thanks for your reply. Much , Much appreciated. Really great to receive all this feedback. I should maybe have been a little more clear about all the things we are changing before asking

Unfortunately, no one has yet mentioned the many restrictions brought into the discussion by insurance companies.
They may not approve or insure your installation plan.
Check with them

Chris,
That Maramu can outlive you.
If you have ZERO experience, don't do it. The Maramu is a big and complex boat, start with a 25' or 30'.
It will cost you 4 x the amount of money you think you

Re: 1979 Amel Maramu Refit
My guess is that if this Maramu can be restored to good condition, you should probably have a bit of luck and 100,000 euro.
I always tell my clients that the cheapest Amel is actually the most

Dear Amelians.
We are considering to buy a bundled pack of LiFePo4 cells vs the drop-in ready batteries (like the ones from Battle Born,Transport Energy or Victron).

Tab lock Prop washer
Good Morning
Does anyone know where I could source one of these in North America
I think it`s called a Tab Lock washer. It goes in between the fixed prop and the prop nut.
Thanks

Re: Amel 54 bow thruster sensors
Exactly. Inside the cylinder, there are metal componants that cause these little switches to act like magnets against them. When in the right position

Re: Amel 54 bow thruster sensors
I did find the switches but I do not understand what activates them in the upper or lower position so the bow thruster stops… - there does not seem to be a counterpart (magnet?) to stop the movement
