Re: [Amel] Volvo TMD 22 Fuel Filter - how many Micron?
Alexandre,
For what it is worth (I am not an expert):
I believe your Racor filter should be 10 micron and your engine filter should be 2 micron. I believe you will get too much vacuum when double-up

Ross,
I use 2.0kg propane cylinders in the standard location without any cutout. I am in Australia though so maybe this is not much help. The brand is Primus but many camping shops have their own

Good evening Richard,
I totally agree with the 2 micron filter.
Do you have the Volvo TMD 22 engine?
If so, could you please let me know which filter model you are using...

The following is a quote from Amel:
"Indeed you will have 2 neoprene foam seals and 1 natural
foam seal. When you touch them you will feel the difference.
Best regards, Maud,

Lior,
In researching the updating of my old maramu's gas/cooking system, I found that Nigel Calder in his book recommended that a propane system could be used for butane but never using a butane

In Sweden we only use Propane or a mix of Propane and Butane due to the outside temperature. Propane is better when it is cold outside.
Sailing in the Med fnow for three years, we have not changed any

In Europe and many other parts of the world, butane is the fuel of choice
and easier to obtain. When boats arrive in the USA and I am preparing them
