Bill,
I thought it might have been installed by Amel, but wasn't sure. The set up
is very well thought out and allows easy access to all sides of the
compressor.

Diving Compressor on Amel 54
I am considering installing a Bauer Junior II on my Amel 54. Would any one who has one installed by the yard at construction time tell me where to put it. Ideally .....a picture is worth 1000 words.

Re: [Amel] Volvo Penta TMD22 transmission ratio
Thank you Danny. The corresponds to what is installed on Libby.
I will now verify that what is stamped on the transmission is what the output actually is.
I will do this with a Digital Laser Tach.

Re: [Amel] Bow thruster
Sorry to say but once you introduced wear on to the gear teeth and bearings they all need to be replaced. Given it would not come to power says the gears/bearing were close to being toast. Call Amel

Donato,
This is probably not much help, but you said, "any help."
It sounds to me as though your mechanic does not know what he is doing. I would suggest contacting Amel SAV by phone describing

Re: [Amel] Coppercoat, three years on
For any hard growth, I'd recommend the Waveblade. I was blown away by how easy it removes everything. Their website is www.waveblade.com
And no, I don't sell them. Just a happy user.
