Hi Pat, I'd leave the triatic with insulators as they also keep the rig a bit safer in lightning storms.
There is a bracket under the roller you can also detach or your rigging guy can detach at the

I am dropping my mast next Monday to rerig and I need to decide to add insulators to the triatic or not.I probably won't ever be using it as an antennae so I can not see the reason for the insulator

Thanks for the info. I'm current with all the filters, etc. The fact that my RPM's are within the same ballpark as when the previous owner acquired the boat from Amel is consistent with that.

After tightening the packing nut several times, I'm changing the rudder packing for our SM2k to stop a slow leak.

Do you have clean fuel and Air filters / cleaners is the prop clean and does it reach full pitch. Are you getting over heating when when you run it hard is the Saltwater heat exchange clear. And

SM2K Yanmar RPM

Hi save the frame and wrap them in what we call cheese cloth it works to filter out the dust. We and the former owners did it for years without issue.

Hello Mark, Bills advice is good. I had the misfortune to get a new filter via Climma and it cost acout 30 euros so I now reuse the frames as Bill suggests....it is what the agent did anyhow. Climma
