Re: [Amel] Re: Foredeck Light
Hi,
Thanks, that is the fixture on the mizzen mast The foredeck light is
different.
Do you have any idea who makes that one. It has a retaining ring that holds
in the same bulb as the mizzen mast

Re: [Amel] Foredeck Light
Hi Eric.
The foredeck light is a sealed beam unit the same as the one
mounted on the mizzen and is used in light aircraft and can
be usually purchased locally.

Re: [Amel] wearing out bearing lip seals
Hi,
Did you test the springs with a magnet to see if they were steel or
stainless? Most of the lip seals I have found have steel springs

Dennis,
I actually have 2 Nasa units I want to sell. On is a AIS black box for a
chart plotter, the other is a stand alone unit that looks like a small
radar.

Kent when you replace the line no matter which you choose leave some slack on one end AFTER the knot so you can take any strech after some use. Once we did that we have had good success
Good luck.

Ok here is the explanation.
The AIS B is required to have its own GPS since the boat it is mounted on
