Even on 24V drives the clutch is 12V and has its own connection to the
course computer.
That is probably the cables you mention.

We had the same problem and.did it a total of 3 times and it came free We followed the instructions from BeBe message #4804. We had to undo the one wire and then proceeded to drop within the space

Just my opinion but going to virginia to get to caribbean is out of the way.
I would go straight possibly with a stop in bermuda. St Martin, simpson bay marina is fantastic .
Very clean 24-7 security
