Nope. The halyard goes around the stbd mast winch, thru the jib car (jib sheet removed), thru the large block on the rail, and then to the stbd jib winch just like the jib sheet does. No overrides

Hi Kim. I had the same problem. I had to redrill the holes and tap them at 1/4 in to use easy to find 1/4 in nylon bolts.

I forgot to mention that we have foot switch wired in parallel with the up switch on the windlass. It is a few inches in front of the forward port hatch and is much better for raising the anchor as

Thanks again, John and Dave. I'll try using a block at the bottom of the mast to make a fairer lead to the windlass. Seems that it might be better to use the primary winches as your helper would
