Kent,
Most lip seals have steel springs. Make sure that the lip seals that you
purchase are S/S.

Re: [Amel] Re: wearing out bearing lip seals
Seals worked fine. As far as I know these are standard seals, just need to
get the size right. As I recall they are not quite simple O-rings, but have
a shape/lip that enhances their oil sealing

Kent, I do not think you would save that much, but it is silly to pay the
shipping and duty from France for things like oil seals that can be purchased
here. Good luck, Pat

Re: [Amel] Dessalator High Pressure Pump
Hi you will need to replace the ring seals as they are more than likely worn due to heat from running dry.

Hi Eric, If it's the distance between the clew and the shackle that you want, on Pen Azen it's 33 cm. BTW, how big is your cruising chute---we have just met a Swedish SM, Lady Annila, Jonas and

Re: [Amel] clew and tack length mainsail
I use a small line for both applications and run it around several times to give me some purchase ( especially for the outhaul). A 6 to 8 ft length should do it for either.
