There are special gaskets that seat the high pressure tubing.
I am sure you can find a cheaper fix.

Eric, I did buy some glass tube , but could not get it to seat perfectly in
the unit.I also broke the float. This all happened because I failed to
winterize the unit in time winter a couple of years

If I remember correctly the watermaker draws about 13 amps while running and
a lot more to start the motors.
That would be a big inverter to start the watermaker. It would also draw
about 3000 watts

Pat, what is the out put voltage of your gen set? If it is from Amel it is more
then likely 220v. 50 cycle...
Further the 220V from an inverter going to a 220 v high pressure pump. will NOT
strain

Many of you have a stronger electrical understanding than I do so.With the price of diesel, running the genset to produce 60 liters an hour got me thinking. Would it be possible to supply the 220v.

We flush everything except the engine in the water and flush that when on the hard.
We fill the water tank and add a little bleach to the water tank. Need to be careful not to flushing that water

Propspeed. Here in Oz you can only get it applied by an authorised person. It's
very important to know how to do it
