Re: [Amel] Volvo TMD 22 RPM SM 2000
Hi again it would be good if you keep the arm that goes to the vacuum device lubes and the shaft that goes into the turbo. On that shaft I'd use penetrating oil like crc5-56 to keep it free.

Re: [Amel] Re: Halon Fire Suppression and Halon canister
In thinking about it some more I'd go for the 285 and put a co2 alarm in the engine room. We did. That will also alert you of an exhaust leak or a fire.

Re: [Amel] Re: Halon Fire Suppression and Halon canister
It looks like the next option would be one that would automatically fire the halon at 285d F. Whenever I go down into the engine room I guess I let some heat out, but it never seems like it gets

Kent think about this the engine runs at around 190 f given that the fans carryoff some of the heat the engine will in the summer heat gain some amount if you have a memory

Re: [Amel] Bow Locker Drain, Dinghies, Outboards, Grills
Kent, if you do get a 2 stroke over time they will be phased out world wide.
The message is to keep an eye on the regs and stock up on oil as it is also
being phased out in other countries as well.

Re: [Amel] Re: Halon Fire Suppression and Halon canister
At the price of not rubbing it in... It may be a good idea to look at a
replacement for the CO2 unit and go the new "halon" system. If you do have a
discharge of the CO 2 you will be unable to use

Interesting, Bill. Kristy has a canister mounted on the step ladder leading down into the engine room. It has a glass valve that breaks at 180d F. It's out of date and I've been reading about
