Jim, another thought, the in mast batten free sail is a proven passage maker. Battens in the main with some roach in it will improve your windward performance I will agree to that. Just remember when

Defender now carries the REYA/Dolphin chargers. You'll have to ask about 24 volts for the SM. And from what can be seen on their web site they are well priced.

When using the Reya charger we were able to remove an exhaust fan the prior owners installed to cool? the engine room when the charger was running. Yes, there is always some heat but the amount now
