We have experienced chaffing near the leech in two places on #387. Each spot is where the tri-radial sections are joined horizontally.

Re battened main- sm349 had movable battens from Doyle. Do not do this. I took them out and put in long thin vertical battens in Ft. Lauderdale. The ends at the leech tore out on trip from Ft

RER: doughnut on the mizzen furler. Sundance # 349 did the sane. All fixes failed until We taped a screw through the aluminum into the doughnut. Never happened again. Murray Seidel

They cost about 80 dollars each and can be replaced anywhere in the

Optima AGM Batteries

I took a look at my safe and under the keypad is a small circular hole with
a pin sticking up from the center. It looks like a plug socket for power.

We replaced ours by finding a exotic wood dealer and buying a whole new companionway panel with african mahogany veneer marine grade ply. Cut it to the same size as the original and moving the lock

When looking for parts for the Volvo or Perkins try Doug Russell in MA, usa they have a large inventory of parts on hand for all engine types. We have gotten parts there for both type engines.

Eric back in my racing days when we shut down it was at idle. If you run it up and shut down the lube oil is off. If you are getting "bearing noise" from the turbo when you shut down it is suggested
