Re: Water maker - mental moment
The solenoid is the likely culprit. It can be removed and cleaned. Soak the parts in vinegar to remove the calcium.

Re: Air in the cooling system of CLIMMA Aircon
I do not think you can have air in the sea water cooling system if the other two units work. The cooling is one circuit, sea water into pump then flows through each aircon compressor one after another

Thank you a lot for the advice. Actually, I don't find any water filter at the aircon. It is also very hard/impossible to see something at the backside of the aircon.
Thanks

Hello,
Just came back from the boat and took the photo here under.
As you can see, the MOTA is bigger and longer than the original oil cooler and that might be a little more work to fix it on

Lior,
Don’t know if this could help but I have got the same trouble once because of a dusty filter at the entrance of the aircon.

Dear Bill
my transmission oil cooler has a fitting of about 1.6 cm (5/8 Zoll). Should I replace the L fitting (by Bowman or Mota)?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Water maker - mental moment
David, the actual 3-way manual valve has been known to leak also...And, of course, it could be a leaking 1-way valve on the freshwater pump.

SM Skeg
On the skeg at one of the rudder fixtures there is a screw on either side fixed into I think a Nylon bush. They look like they might be for grease? There is no mention of this being a maintenance

Hello David,
The solenoid valve that flushes the watermaker automatically (located above the primary filters) mat be leaking internally.
Check it (undo the plumbing fitting after the valve).

Hi David
Just to confirm, on Amel54 #117 it works like you described:
- handle vertical upwards - fresh water flush
- handle horizontal everything shut off
- handle vertically down sea water allowed
