Important is to grease them properly.

Re: Mango Refit?
Thanks Arlo,
I agree mainly with you. This boat isn't updated or upgraded, but don't seems too much neglected.
I' m a bit curious about why you consider the Mango as the best design of Henry Amel,

Hey Arno,
Perhaps on the 54 but not on earlier SM's, SN's etc. Do you also have an engine air intake filter? Not on the earlier models. Maybe global warming is causing more dust in the air such that

Mango VDO Fuel sensor replacement
Hello fellow Mango owners. My port side fuel sensor has finally given up the ghost and died. I did all the troubleshooting and narrowed it down to the sensor. Has any of the Mango owners on here

Re: Does the faux teak prevent one From seeing damage before it is too late?
#solution
Daniel,
Damage to the gelcoat is not what leads directly to damaged core. Under the gelcoat is the actual structural layer of fiberglass reinforced resin laminate. The kind of long term sun damage

Re: Pilot bulb bilge pump
Hallo Bill,
Thank you for your answer. Good idea to replace with an LED in a 8mm housing. I didn't found this hint in my version of your great book.

Re: Pilot bulb bilge pump
I am fairly sure that the red cover was glued in place with something. When I had to replace the bulb, I bought an LED bulb and 8mm fixture. See below info.

Pilot bulb bilge pump
Hallo,
I had to replace the pilot bulb of the bilge pump on the 24v panel. The red cover was fixed with some silicon like stuff. What is the correct way to fix this cover? It is not staying in place

Does the faux teak prevent one From seeing damage before it is too late?
#solution
If the white sub teak gel coat gets damaged, can the faux teak prevent one from seeing the problem before it is "too late" and one is subject to a saturated balsa core?
Is there a horrendous argument

Courtney, no need to fill the questionnaire again. Kent was reminding people to fill out the questionnaire.
We had a lot of answers, but the more the better.
Thank you to all who have answered
