Can I assume that everyone has a plastic washing up bowl in their galley sinks ? Its use reduces the volume of washing up water , saves the sink surface from being chipped by a careless saucepan and ,

We flush the bilge several times with water and dish washing liquid once or twice every season and we do not have any issues with smell. I pour dish washing liquid in the bilge and leave the water

The other advantage of the Amel 50/60 grey water tank vs. the prior models’ grey water in the bilge is that the tank doesn’t smell as it is hermetically sealed. At least, that’s the theory. So

I quite like the extended side curtains on that video for the Super Maramu. The 54 doesn’t really need that as they seemed to make them just a bit longer. This is one of the best that I’ve seen.

1. It is to low
2. You can’t open up forward, where the wind comes from
3. With the hatch in the roof, you have taken away the best
