Hi Pat,
you are right, if the waste gate is stuck closed you get more power, not less.However if the turbo blades don't spin freely you get less power. The TMD is a 50 hp engine. The turbo increases

We had our chain hot dip galvanization done twice. Lasted about 5 years each time swapping end for end halfway through. Our shackle was made by Chicago steel and showed no sign of rust. As you

Pfeiffer who is the german distributor of antal had a own sheave for the genua car which is a good replacement. Its made of aluminium, its 4 mm smaller than the original one

Well I guess that explains issue.
On the turbo: if it isnt spinning freely because of build up, that may be
fixable without undue expense. Bearings, that is a different can. I have
seen tmd22 turbos

We had it galvanized it this week and installed it yesterday. I'd say it should have been galvanized around April, but I wasn't going to

FWIW, I have just changed my exhaust elbow and my TMD22 has only 1400 hours. It was also caked with carbon and the exhaust flow was restricted. Though, I made the full 3000 rpm.
