Since you are starting to distort the nut, you might try a "vice grip" locking pliers adjusted very tight. Plus some PB blaster as Justin suggested.

On the main boom you must remove the cover from outhaul motor under the boom, so you get access to the bungee attachments. But take care, this

Smell the oil. If it has a clear diesel scent you are in trouble. In that case the oil level should also raise.
Else the sensor itself may very well be the problem. Also if they used full synthetic

I had the same. In my case it was a faulty Oil sensor switch. When you order a new one look for the right connection. There seem to be two differnt types for the D3 110. My one was part number
