Steve,
Amel did stock the bronze gear for your model. SAV"at"amel.fr I assume they still do. I cannot tell you how much is too much.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Washing machine replacement on AMEL54
European washing machines seem to be of standard dimensions, more or less.
The first Hotpoint machine I find at www.currys.co.uk (one of the UK's
major retailers) is described as 850 x 595 x 577 mm

For those of you who have taken your gearboxes apart, how much wear is too much wear on the bronze teeth, and if necessary, has anyone managed to find a replacement?

the problems are, it stops running in the middle of the program, it has a lot of rust (the bottom looks totally rusty) and I was hoping to find a model that is more energy efficient.

The dimension of my current machine is 85,7 cm (height), 59,5 cm (width) ca. 50cm (depth).
Good to hear from you again!

Re: Fixing/replacing copper on holding tank
Thank you Bill Mark, and Eric.
I am back down at the boat again and am looking things over with the idea to follow Mark's detailed plan. The tank is dry and "clean" and the toilet and hose removed.

Hi Bill,
That is great advice. Can you post a few images please of the setup you have for the traveller. I am guilty of leaving the traveller amidships.
Going to the stern always did seem time
