Wearing out bearing
I was just looking at the pile of wearing out bearings that I have for the prop shaft. It seems that the grooves in them are less than .3 mm deep. I change it every year.
What about the idea of

I'd try compounding and waxing first. If the surrounding paint is sunbleached, you could repaint or wait for Mother Nature to do it for you.

the purpose of the small swages on the mizzen mast top shrouds is indeed to support stainless steel tubes for a full cockpit awning. They were installed as a standard on the SM 2000

If you ever need to fish a line down inside a mast, try a short length of bicycle chain as a weight. Thin, and flexible, it is much less likely to get stuck on the way down than most other

Hi John,
Yes, we just did ours.
Disconnect the old wire below. Then open the access plate at the base of the mast and fish out the wire. Now, SECURELY attach a messenger line to the end of the cable.

I have removed some lettering from the mizzen boom and the white paint underneath the stickers is shinier.
Does anyone know a safe way to even out the aspect?

I would have guessed the 2 with the U shape would have been to go on the part just mentioned on the mizzen shroud, but 6’ long
