Amel installed insulators on the Triadic Stay so that the stay wire could be used as a Weather Fax Antenna. As far as I know, every SM and 54 had this "antenna." The coax

Not pretending to know anything about SSB, I was told the triatic stay is not very suitable for SSB transmissions due to its orientation.

Actually the pressure regulation is not in the oilfilter. It sits at the bottom of the block in the the housing of the oil cooler as far as I can see on the drawing. This regulator may be stuck. Can't

Defective pressure relief valve in the oil filter?
Too coincidental that the problem started after an oil change.
Try changing filters.

So in that case can I assume that when AMEL yard delivered my boat with the ICOM IC-802 installed this antenna was OEM connected?
