Hi Oliver, I don't think you are right. I have had the 802 for years and it does not need two aerials and the triactic is not intended for this purpose.

Arno,
You are amazing. I have looked at the depressed area on many of these and did not connect the dots.

Re: Cable feed into Main and Mizzen masts on a A54
Hello,
The triatic stay is used by the SSB ICOM M802 radio to receive DSC emergency trafic. Its only receiving on this antenna.
The M802 needs 2 antennas. For regular transmissions it uses a backstay

Arno,
Great idea – as having to remove all the sails, ropes etc. every time from the sail locker in order to lift out the step/cover in order to secure the locking pin stopped me more than once

As you all know Amel recommends using a locking pin on the bowthruster when making passage. Although good advice not always practical as you need to open the cover in the sail locker. If that thing is

Paul - this is a very common problem solved with an inexpensive (<$20) replacement of the differential girdle spring on the upper end of the grammeter. A very easy do-it-yourself project.

Hi Arno,
Bedankt voor de hulp. Ik zie dat je nog steeds hard bezig bent met LUNA – ze moet nu bijna perfekt zijn. Ik voel me bijna schuldig dat ik niet zoveel doe voor AMELIT😊

Hi Roque,
Thanks - this helps a lot. I don’t recognize the switches in your attachments so that indicates that my switches also have been replaced. That matches my impression of the original

I did all my switches in 2016 after I bought the boat in 2015. The switches that Bill shows the photo of is correct. I was in Marseille and Amel Hyeres would have done the change at no charge. I

If I may jump in, attached are pictures of the "old" switches, the ones that must be replaced.
The new ones are bigger (see Bill's pic). They need a 43 mm diameterhole. Maybe you can check

Now I think about it on AMELIT the SSB was connected to a special SSB antenna on the stern which broke off. Getting a new antenna from AMEL was difficult/impossible & another AMEL owner and I decided
