Re: Turbo -encabulator
I always ran an Interforometer that I received from my father. It took care of all on board power and propulsion issues on my Amel Mango. I removed it and now have it on a Noelex 30 in the Gippsland

Turbo -encabulator
I have one for sale also new in crate however it starts on 50 cycles and 220-230 volt.
From there it is powered by a self contained stellerator.
The capacitor bank for that is quite heavy,

Thomas,
I'm pretty sure the antenna on top of the mizzen is for the AIS transceiver. A dedicated AIS antenna should not live next to a VHF antenna and ideally should be in a different horizontal

Hello,
It is possible to use the ICOM M-802 only with its one tranceiver antenna BUT without its second antenna the emergency DSC trafic does not work.
The radio needs its two antennas for full

Hi Oliver, I don't think you are right. I have had the 802 for years and it does not need two aerials and the triactic is not intended for this purpose.

Arno,
You are amazing. I have looked at the depressed area on many of these and did not connect the dots.

Arno,
Great idea – as having to remove all the sails, ropes etc. every time from the sail locker in order to lift out the step/cover in order to secure the locking pin stopped me more than once

As you all know Amel recommends using a locking pin on the bowthruster when making passage. Although good advice not always practical as you need to open the cover in the sail locker. If that thing is

Paul - this is a very common problem solved with an inexpensive (<$20) replacement of the differential girdle spring on the upper end of the grammeter. A very easy do-it-yourself project.

Thanks - this helps a lot. I don’t recognize the switches in your attachments so that indicates that my switches also have been replaced. That matches my impression of the original
