Re: Hatch handle seat (corners) for Goiot tradition series
Hi Charles,
That is awesome, nice work!
I might have to sketch the pieces I need because all of them are currently in use on my boat. Might need a couple other parts too, if possible. Curious how long

Thank's Paolo
I have thought about a similar solution myself. What material is it made of? Not plexiglas or Macralon I assume as they are not thermoplastic and not possible to bend by heat. I guess it

Re: Volvo warning
There is an excellent cleaner for burned on deposits that would work great for this application. It is a gun cleaning product called “Shooter’s Lube”.

On a related note.
I'm looking for the right material to replace the gaskets on the inspection ports. Diesel is pretty hard on most gaskets. I've tried two different "rubber" materials and have

Pat!
we cleaned our tank by opening the inspection hatch and pumped out the rest with a hand pump same as on our outboard tank. We used a fuel hose with inner diameter the same as the outer diameter

Eric, There is at least one port on the top of the tank. It has never been cleaned, and since there is only a few gallons in the tank I thought it was a good time . I am not interested in polishing or

Re: Volvo warning
Thanks Mark. It’s pretty much what I did except I used WD40 and did not spray at the same time as moving the arm up and down – maybe I should try that. Maybe I should use Corrosion X instead?

Re: Cleaning the fuel tank
I just had mine professionally cleaned – it cost USD500 and took several hours with some pretty sophisticated looking gear, and involved negotiating baffles in the tank. Good luck!

Re: Volvo warning
I had the same fault code with the last digit being "0". I was able to lube and free up the actuator. It could also indicate a bad sensor or another turbo related issue. Take a look at the attached

Cleaning the fuel tank
I have never cleaned a fuel tank and was wondering how one goes about it, I only now have about 10 gallons in the tank. Do you install a pump hose on the end of a length of 1/2 pcv tube and just move
