I’m not sure what headliner was used in the 54 or earlier models of SM’s, Maramu’s, etc., but the headliner in our boat (SM #466) was still available about a year ago. It has a

Hi Rob,
if you give PYI a call, they are very helpful. They will need to know your engine, type of boat, diameter of the prop, and left hand rotation. I believe the diameter is 21”, but assuming you

Re: Front furler Bamar MEJ upgrade to EJF? Is it worth it?
Make sure with the Bamar that it is set up to drain properly otherwise the brake will fail and ruin the motor
Otherwise great piece of kit
Cheers

Further to Porter’s review below – or theconnection between the EJF and the aluminum furler.
I checked RECKMANN before ordering the 3rd set of BAMAR’s but the price difference was extreme.

The EJF is fantastic. Flawless operation and a pleasure to use.
No belt. One just has to be careful, whereas the weakest link in the MEJ was the belt, the weakest link in the EJF may now be the deck

Hi Stefan,
I have, what I believe, the 3rd generation BAMAR. This version is NOT belt driven but gear driven.
No problems at all – major improvement over the previous 2 versions.

Hi Alex;
Thanks for the reply.
Which Amel do you have? If a 54, did you have to make any modifications or make changes to the attachment points on the 310 for a good fit and connection when pulled
