Depends a bit when you are going to lay up there. If it is in the hurricane season many marinas, yacht clubs on the coast have requirements that you move your boat to a "safer" area or take it out

Hi,
The euro must be killing you.
I haul the boat every year and do the bottom and replace the wearing out
bearing in the saildrive.
I have not had such problems.
What are you doing?
Eric

Hi Pat, for some reason I can't forward the email I thought I had forwarded even though my Sent box shows it as having been sent successfully. You will find it dated 14 March 2006. It gives revs/speed

Re: rpm/speed
Hi Pat
I think your rpm/speed is quite normal.
We have a Max prop and a TMD22b and have almost the same rpm/speed.
Except that we can get 3300 rpm and just above 9 knots.

[Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Volvo/Autoprop not making rated RPM..advice please
Hi Jorge,
yes, the RPM could today be rised over 3300rpm. It is a greate
difference in power and the engine feels as new! Will do the same on
my Onan this winter.
Best regards and fair

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] autohelm ST 7001
When running down wind in those kinds of wind we layout about 100 meters of heavy line with about 5 kg of chain as a weight. This forms a big "U" behind the boat does not slow it much BUT dose hold
