Hi Gary, You have the synthetic rubber rub rail fillers/ “scuppers” .The
later boats have the PVC type and they will not stain .The only problem with
the PVC units is they are very “stiff”

I am not sure of the cause, water erosion, corrosion, or electrolysis.
I did experience a grinding and squealing noise for a short period of

My gas bottles, 10 and 20lbs, are in the stern locker which is
ventilated, and have an electric shut-off valve attached, reducing
danger of leaks into the bilge.

We put the tanks back to the dealer and installed an Origo spiritus cooker (methylated spirit).
No leaks, no fears. No locker, no lost space and available everywhere.
