The keel on all Super Maramus is cast iron, not steel (big difference) and the keel is not
encased/encapsulated in fiberglass. It is faired in epoxy, primed, and painted

HI, Hey, did the water come from the keel or from the
rudder skeg. The rudder is hollow and will drain. I
don't know of any plugs in the Keel itself. The keep
should be cast steel incased in

Keel drainage
We hauled our SM2000 #404 in Nov, and found that a large amount of
water drained from the keel through a small hole about 1-2 cm in
diameter in the bottom of the keel. It is round, and looks as if
