Sounds right to me. The water comes out of the engine exhaust loop,
not the generator exhaust. It is meant to reassure you that the
intake seacock is open and that the impeller is working,

question on the SM engine vent loop
Can anyone tell me how much, if any, water is normally supposed to come out of the little pipe that vents out of the engine room from the top of the anti siphon loop above the engine, and vents/drains

I replaced the old water heater with the 11 gal. Force 10.
You can have Chuck at Sailorman order one if he doesn't have
it in stock. It is 110V and engine heated. SS outside box,
with aluminum

where that came out as best product.

I just replaced mine with an isotemp heater. Very little work required.
I just had to extend the exhaust pipe on the generator to fit in the heater.
