one the main noticeable difference that you cannot miss is:
-Santorin (46') and Super Maramu 2000 or not (53') are the only ones to
have a unique Amel "C" drive transmission to the prop.

The Santorin is 13.94 meters, apx 46'. Beam 3.93m It
was the successor to the Maramu which, I believe, was
also apx. 46'.

The Maramu was 48-ft and was based on the previous 48-ft model called
Santorin.
The Super Maramu model was originally described as 52-ft and was based on
the previous 52-ft model called Mango.

Definitely a Maramu, you should be able to verify this on the plaque on
the starboard side when you go down the companionway. The plaque also
gives you year and build number.

Maintenance, a couple of experiences
Our SM is 5 and a half years old and has sailed about 25,000 miles and been lived aboard on and off for about 3 years. Today I checked the brushes on the motors on the genoa, Lofrans, boom and mast.
