thanks for bringing me a selection of dowels! (Kentβs boat Kristy is anchored beside me.)
The pipe walls are 1mm thick, the inside diameter is 12mm so a 10mm dowel is perfect for the job.

in the galley - 2,00 to 2,05m
the salon - appr. 2,05m in the passage way (16cm step up left and right - the chairs, table etc.)

Sorry for the late reply, Check out https://www.carlingtech.com/thermal-cb-clb-series ; this is not a direct replacement, no manual trip, but it is a disruptor style circuit breaker.

Yes, that breaker is for the 24 volt windlass and genoa furler. Maybe your meter is set wrong or you didn't use the 24 volt negative. Check again.

If you have an older SM I recommend you take a hard look at the Genoa sheet cars. I had one fail in light wind. Bill Kinney had similar failure mode. 20/30 year old gear. I got my new ones from
