Re: Recommended solar panel brand
Scott,
Why do you use parallel - Is it to do with partial shading? Mine are in series to minimise loss in the cable as I have no space for thicker cables.
Cheers,
Paul

Mine has squeaks and creeks... it’s a boat!
However comparing a Lagoon catamoron to an Amel is carp.

Are Amel boats quiet?
Hi, could you please let me know if Amel boats, SM specifically, are quiet boats? I’ve chartered Lagoon catamaran last week and it was a noise generating machine at anchorage and during passages.

Scott,
Thanks for that. Yes, I should have guessed the wires for the gauge! A for the possible slope I guess I could put a spirit level on and see what it averages out at.

Hi Joerg;
Thanks for the photos. Definitely a nice improvement to the Davits. The Davits on the 55 are closer spaced than the 54 and I believe are parallel and not at an angle like the 54. I think

Hi Aty & Mohammad,
I have experimented with several tenders (5 in total over 2 years) including 2 HIGHFIELDS and finally settled on a OCT (Offshore Cruising Tender – made in NEW ZEALAND) 350.

Re: Carrying Tender on Davits while crossing
Thanks Jamie.
Keep in mind that the CL340 (same length as our current Zodiac) is wider than the stern and therefore does create issues when leaving the dock when docked stern to in tight quarters
