Hi Tom,
I had new mounting discs made from 3/4” delrin by a machinist. They were about $125 US each plus material. I had to buy a 1 ft square of 3/4” delrin.

Keel bolt cover
There is a keel bolt near the C drive that is covered in a thick black rubber sealant. The sealant does not appear to be silicone based. I have a tear in that black rubber cover, revealing the head

Re: Down wind pole corrosion damage
Hi Thomas,
Good catch! I noticed Annie's short poles collect water inside. I have toyed with the idea of drilling a small drain hole to let it drain. Letting them stand upright in the sun

Duane,
I am a littleconfused (normal for me). Is the engine fixed? Did you resolve the overheatissue or are you still experiencing hot temperatures at higher RPMs?

Re: Deck Repairs to Amel Mango
Hello Ian,
We are resurfacing the decks of Mango #29 right now.
We sanded off the loose "molded-teak" and have sealed with a 2-part high-build sealant. Then we will top with some sort of a surface

When Kelly and I first got out SM, we were bothered by this sound, too. I think I even noted it during the sea trial. I remember it keeping us up the first night we stayed on the boat. But shortly

These are used in a few places on our Super Maramu, most notably on the cockpit table. Amel replaced one for us in Martinique and I'm pretty sure they just called it a "special nut". Google

Re: Yanmar 4jh3-hte overheat
Duane,
Generally, temp sensors work off of resistance with high resistance when cold and much lower resistance as the medium gets hotter. You can use a cup of room temperature water and boiling water
