Paul,
Thanks . The old base that you show is the one that I have and for which I can't find a replacement. I like your solution to get access underneath.

Kent and Iris,
Thank you. I will look at that bolt.
Interestingly ( annoyingly--as a replacement for your base seems available) I appear to have a slightly different base from that which you show,

Gary,
Thanks. I did replace the rubber washers but should have done so earlier as the distortion of the holes had already started and , needless to say, once it started it only got worse.

Wood tool for servicing Bow thruster
Hello Amelien
After being told by Maud in La Rochelle that Amel was out of stock for a while , I would like to know if somebody has the specs of that tool, , to have one made ,or perhaps a spare one

Places to winter in Scotland
I'm planning to cruise the West Coast of Scotland next season and am wondering whether there are good places to leave the boat for the following winter. Any help would be much appreciated.

Karen,
That sure is much different than the elbow on my Onan MDKAV 7kW. Mine looks much more like the one from Nikimat's MDKAL. If you do end up replacing yours with a new one, let me know. I will

Re: Headsail furler issues
That's interesting, Adam.
On the SN the wires make "home runs" to the motors (furler or windlass) with no splice in a junction box, a far better arrangement (and typically "code"). When you redo this
