Re: Always check your contractors' work
I would recommend publically listing their name so that others can avoid them and they learn that their are repercussions for doing work incorrectly or poorly. Just my 2 cents...

- hunidity
- heat
- limited space so probably the charger is mounted sideways what lowers airflow.

Kent,
I know it's Martinique, but I have had good experience with Caraibe Marine in Le Marin. They generally know Amels quite well. I had them redo my standing rigging and while all was not perfect,

Re: AMFA bilge pump rebuild kit
Hello,
I think its worth to rebuild the original Pump as long as the housing has no bad cracks.
The AMFA pump is a very robust one. I even replaced the motor and gearbox when mine broke. Used Bosch

Hi Herbert,
I’ve contacted the pump manufacturer and the pump is no longer in production and they have ceased producing serving kits.
I’m also interested in a source for the flap valve but am now

Lots of interesting and useful information- you hinted in your video about the reasoning of using a single battery management system rather than each battery having an integrated BMS I am

Always check your contractors' work
Like many, I have used contractors to do work on our A54 that we either don't have the time, skills nor tools to do ourselves. This is simply delegation and leveraging our time because we don't want

Herbert,
I believe that SAV at Amel has the flaps and diaphragm.

Re: Maramu locker door mishap
Thanks very much for this folks
I’ll hunt the rubber insert when next on board but I’ve not seen it yet. I’ve also failed to spot any section that allows a lift to remove
I’ll double check

Oliver,
This is very interesting. We are presently just across the Guadiana River near Ayamonte in Spain, so if you are in the south of Portugal would it be possible to meet up so we can learn
