Re: Aqua Signal Series 44 LED port/starboard bow nav lights
See here:

The 44 series has the same mounting plate and because they have LED lamps they use only 1 W power

Re: Location of the fuse for the chain washing pump requested
Hi Willem,
As Bill points out the circuit breaker is with the other 24V breakers in the engine room. If the pump still does not work try rotating it manually for a few rotations--this happened to us

Aqua Signal Series 44 LED port/starboard bow nav lights
Has anyone replaced the SM original Aqua Signal series 40 port and startboard bow nav lights with the Series 44 LED lights. It looks like it could be pretty straightforward, but:
1) I was not clear

Hi all, I've been following the Lithium topic closely now and want to make the conversion this November when I return to BeBe. As I have followed this thread and also talked with other cruisers

Re: Amel is going lithium
Hi Arno,
I bought in China 8 100 Ah at 12 V LifePo4 batteries and imported these by myself into the Netherlands. The total coast was 400 euro per battery. So not cheap, but affordable. After 2 years

I'm sure I'm using the wrong terminology, but Victron's intent (from their engineer's mouths) is that you put the "control wires" through the BP-220.
For example, the thin wires leading from the bow

Thanks Scott. I am making copious notes for when I get my own Amel. A side hobby has been following the whole Lithium thing (even outside of sailboats) so your experience is quite apropos! I did

Re: Solar Panels
I'll echo Porter's praise of the LG panels. I have the Neon2 320w and combined they should output 960w.
My MPPT is supposed to handle 1000watts / 35amps and has maxed out more than once, indicating

I considered waiting too and we decided we wanted to be able to take advantage of the benefits now, during our circumnavigation.
It is a personal decision though. The technology isn't to the point

Correct, the Reg-on wire does turn on/off the alternator.
I installed the manual in-line switch. I will, in fact, turn off the alternator manually during long motoring days, especially if it's sunny.
