Asking me? Yes we did. Doesn’t regrett it at all. Keeps the cockpit a bit cooler (and warmer in cold climate) as it is a sandwich construction. Perfect spot for solar panels. Not really satisfied

Hi Eric
The contactor is an automatic switch that selects either the power from the shore or the generator. The manual switch does the same job, just manually. I bought a Schneider Electric rotary

Hi again Bernd,
if your heat exchanger has rubber end caps it is high level probability that there is the problem. Tighten the hose clamps as a first try. I had that once on a previous boat and

On second thought. If the engine is running and a faucet is running, just before the fresh water pump goes on, Isn’t it possible to get antifreeze in the hot water tank?

No intercooler, oil cooler or transmission cooler on this engine. Has to be either the rubber end caps on the heat exchanger with their two hose clamps or a leak inside the heat exchanger tubes.

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you search for your “Kerpa” photos? I do not see a search option when opening the photos page.
Thank you.

Re: Dessslator HP hoses
The JIC is a designation of the connection. It does not necessarily have to be reusable. Most are not. I will bet that a hydraulic shop can make you the hoses with stainless steel fittings permanently

My Amel just took us here, right now! What an amazing adventure machine! And I just raced my buddy from Raiatea in his new Leopard 48. It blows his mind that a monohull is faster than his cat!
