We've been very happy with our new TriRadial Cut Pro Radial Genoa made by Q Sails, part of Bill's Yacht School discount program. Great product and an even better price.

Re: Different Yanmar 4JH3-HTE and other yanmar Specific Fuel Consumption
I've got a 4JH4-TE in a OG Maramu.
Burns about 1GPH at ~2,000-~2,100 RPM @ around 6kts'ish
@2,400RPM we do about 7kts'ish and burn over 2GPH.
Not sure if that helps ;)

Miles,
Some people who have had experience with Lee Sails may give a favorable answer because the Lee Sails they received were much better than the worn sails they replaced and the sails the Lee Sails

Lee Sails or equivalent
Hello
Does anyone have any experience of Lee Sails?
We are considering them as an almost half price alternative for UK manufactured sails.
Normally we get what we pay to a degree but the price

Gas pipe size - SM
Hi
Can someone advise the (copper) gas pipe size feeding into the gas locker on a SM? I am sizing the fittings for the suggested Burkert solenoid valve (6013/125301) but am not on board to measure

Re: Dual Pre Filters for Fuel
The Racor Duplex 500 works. Amel placed the filters low specifically to make it easy to prime/bleed with even minimum fuel in the tank without the need of a electric prime pump. Pumps that get used

Re: Dual Pre Filters for Fuel
Hi woody I did same last year: rancor double filter. I am far from the boat to tell you exactly the data. Same engine, position behind the two alternators, no problem in the last 85 hours last

Dual Pre Filters for Fuel
Hi guys..
I have a SM'97 with a TMD22-B and MDKDP 6,5 KW genset and would like to change the single pre-filter for a (Racor?) dual filter. I have no idea what the flow rate is or how to calculate it

Re: Engine room lining on Amel 54
Is the A54 lining same as the one in the picture below?
If yes, Amel is still using the same lining on the A50... In which case, I would like to find a way to slow down or prevent deterioration. Also,

Re: K1 & K2 Location - Amel 54
Thanks Olivier, I see that on the original schematics. I never had the inverter or the transformer, but I do see what you are saying. I installed a 4kVA inverter and switch it through a manual switch.

Thank you all for the very quick answer!
@Bill: Yes I did look at the drawings and have made pictures of these. Which would you like? From the pictures you have uploaded ours is rather different,

Re: K1 & K2 Location - Amel 54
Hi Jamie,
in the original AMEL option for a 2.5kVA inverter, K2 is allowing the inverter to feed the 230V circuits only if generator is OFF and shore power cord is disconnected.
In case a 120V/230V
