Re: Outhaul shaft removal
Barry & Robyn
If you experience any difficulty during re-assembly just ease the tension of the outhaul line. That line, if under a great deal of tension, can cock the Anderson Winch "cap" slightly

This is pretty much like my tool but the hole in the top is square and large while in mine is circular and of the same size as the shaft. Actually, l should have made it slightly

I have not replaced mine but yes it is cloth-like material covering insulation. It is held on with wire and clips. I would replace if oil soaked. I cannot imagine it costs much. You could make one

Turbo heat shield for Perkins M80T
Has anyone replaced the turbo heat shield on a Perkins M80T? I think it's supposed to be white and cloth like. Mine is oil soaked and embedded with rust.
Thanks, Dan
