Re: Dessalator AC motor
Alan,
I checked the manufacturer's product catalog for the EBS 80k 230v motor. Page 19 shows that the shaft is 19mm.
I did not attach it to this email because of the size.
If you want the catalog,

Hi Allan,
I have an Amel 54 with the 100 Duo watermaker, it uses the same 230V motor as the 60 Duo as far as I know because mine has been replaced (motor is from 2011 and boat is from 2009). The motor

I'm pretty sure the shaft is steel.. and also the part that attaches to the shaft. The Aluminum part is just the housing that is loosely fit with the 4 tension bolts and houses the 4 rubber

Hi James,
In company with another boat owned by a former Minister of the French Govt, we encountered few problems except the incredibly bureaucracy to check into the islands. MIND YOU, THIS WAS LAST

The 3 bolts worked quite well. It took a bit of time but I did get it off. You will need a number of different length bolts. If I remember correctly the

Alan, that sounds like good performance from your anchor chain. We just purchased the same this past November.
Can you give me an idea of how much you use your anchor each year and where you are

Re: Removing the original Vetus Coupler on SM
Unfortunately yes... The rubber bushings were so far gone it started to warp the 4 bolt holes in the aluminium hosing. The 4 studs also showed cracks by 2 of the studs. So this was long overdue.

The Groups.io Developer changed something in the Photos album that you may not notice. There is now a sort button located in the upper right. The default sort is newest first. If you change the photo
