Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Water in rudder
It's normal. It is designed to fill with sea water. Thank you, Henri Amel. BTW, the skeg should not fill with water. I have seen at least 2 skegs filled with water as a result of a serious collision.

It gets us our weather data everyday we are offshore. Of course data transfer is “slow” what do they expect? From initiation of the call

Iridium Go
We had planned to buy an Iridium Go , however I just read a bunch of very negative reviews on it. The reviews claim that it just did not function as advertised ,poor connections , slow or no data

Can you tell me we’re the switch is?
When I recently had no water going through the generator the Oman generator just shut down, it was the rubber impeller which needed changing.

A wind sensor option...
This just came across my desk. I don't know anything about it other than what the promotional materials say, although a little digging shows they have been around for a while. For those Amel sailors

tap valve cartridges for Maramu 46 galley taps
Has anyone been able to find replacement tap valve cartridges for the
galley taps? I'm pretty certain they are a metric size (I think the
thread is M18 fine) and everything in UK is BSP standard.

Hi Mark,
Make sure you also have the document that shows the boat is in the "Entrepot" (what you call bond, I think). They may want to see that as well if you tell them the stuff is repair parts for
