That is great that the oil pressure is still good. Could the shavings from the wearing pump drive components plug the ability of the lubricating oil to flow back to the oil pan? The only

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] ENGINE OVERHEATING ISSUE
Thanks James but oil pressure is good and we change oil every 100 hours and the oil filter. Also the engine uses little oil between changes
It’s a puzzle !

Hey Duane,
the cruising club of America has some guides for the Candian maritimes. I've never used them. They're not like the chart books that Maptech produces for the US coast. Those are awesome.

Rick,
I heard from Maud today. She just came back from vacation , and her assistant dropped the ball with my order.
She is usually very prompt.

Seckin,
Your B&G 213 Mast Head Unit (MHU) is probably original and over 20 years old. Others are correct that the speed sensor needs to be replaced because the tiny bearing is bad. The speed sensor is

You have a number of things ptobably affecting your performance.
That motor is not original and may be cavitating that prop which was designed for less hp and less rpms.
The AutoProp does auto-pitch

Rudolf,
If your turbohas gone kaput, normally the tell tale signs are black smoke AND limited RPM. Youwill really notice the black smoke over 2000 rpm.
